She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Nixon; her sons, Ralph Lishman and David Nixon (Virginia); her parents, Albert Pond and Ruby Pond; her stepmother Grace Pond; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Nixon and Bill Nixon (Audrey).
She is survived by: her children, Joanne, Mary Lou and Jim Ellis; her grandchildren, Julie (Jeff), Amanda, Erica (Kevin) and Ryan (Kaitlyn); her great grandchildren, Sebastian, Winston, Matilda, Cameron, Ella and Jaxon; her stepsisters, Gayle Matthies, Betty Lindsay (David) and Judy Knibb (Roy); and her siblings-in-law, Elvin Nixon (late Jean), Jean Nixon, Bob Nixon (Alice) and Marion Drehmer (late Fay).
Due to Covid restrictions, a Celebration of Life for Lois will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the West Haldimand Hospital & Health Care Foundation (Pallative Care Room).
