He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Fess (Schumacher); and his sister-in-law Margery Whisler. He is survived by: his children, Diane Secord (Earl), Beth Peters (Glen), Sharon Rulli (Sandy), Judy Vanderbolt (Gary) and Doug Fess (Terry); and his brother-in-law Harvey Schumacher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
