He was predeceased by: his brother Ted; and his brother-in-law Paul. He is survived by: his wife Judy Herkimer (Gedye); his children, Chris, Luisa and Kacy; his grandchildren, Toad, Matthew and Emily; his siblings, Larry and Cheryl; and his siblings-in-law, Doug, Wendy, Pat and George. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
