He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Ann; and his siblings, Dorothy Upton, Edward (Jean Upton), Don (Margaret Brooks) and Ronald Upton.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Upton (Kathy) and Sally-Ann Peirson (Scott); his grandchildren, Melissa (Eugene), Trevor (Holly), Danielle (Yamila) and Natasha (Tristan); his great grandchildren, Emma, Wyatt, Isabella and Bradley; and his siblings, Iris (Sony Jarvis), Olive (Sidney Dawson), Jack (Edith Davy), Cyril (Edith Upton) and Victor (Edna Upton).
