He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Peart and Alvin Peart; and his brother Bill Baldwin of London. He is survived by: his children, April, Brian Barker of St Marys, Eric and Amber Peart of Hagersville; the mother of his children Marie Fagan Peart of Hagersville; his grandchildren, Hayden, Liam and Owen Barker; his siblings, Audrey, Donna, Dennis Corbett of Caledonia, Bruce Peart and Margaret Walton of Dundas; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry, Lori Fagan of Calgary, Patrick Fagan of Sidney, BC, Mike and Joanne Fagan of Selkirk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the West Haldimand General Hospital Foundation.
