He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his parents, Walter Porter and Muriel Porter; his son Wayne; and his granddaughters, Kirsten, Taylor and Kylie.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy (Rod), Terry, Garry (Donna), Jannie, Bill (Brenda), Shelley (Sonny), Kelly (Neale) and Jody; and his siblings, Victor (Glenda), John, Wood, Helen and Sheila (Dave). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
