He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Ranton and Ada Isabel Ranton (MacPherson); his siblings, Shirley Parker (late Bob), Jean Ranton, Beverly Gillis, Ruth Hartrick (late Jim), Gladys Eastman (Bill) and Helen Murphy (Ed); and his brother-in-law Ed Murphy. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
