He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dignan and Revada Dignan; and his sisters, Marilyn Adele Dignan and Sharon Diane Thiel. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Joan Dignan; his children, Lindsey Gravel (Philip) of Kincardine, Courtney Dignan of Guelph, Ryan Wilson of Georgetown and Mathew Hoy (Jen) of London; his sibling Dale Dignan (Marie); his sibling-in-law Gerry Thiel; his grandchildren, Ella, Ava, Ben, Ferris and Pearl; and his cousins, Edith, David, Garth, Doris, Revada, Alder and Bessie.

Donations are being accepted for: ALEXANDRA MARINE GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION (ALEXANDRA MARINE AND GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION).
