He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne and Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Christine (Jim Elliott); his grandchildren, Sadie, Eliza and Edwin Walter (Ted); his siblings, Lorne (Kathy), Howard (Joan) and Eleanor (Mike Stringer); and also, Gale (Ed), Bryan and Karen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
During covid he built a literal water park – bouncy castle, splash pool, custom spray hoses, waterslide – anything to make being at Bopa's fun.
