She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Mainland; her son David Mainland; her siblings, Alpha Butcher (Jack) and Eldon Towriss (Margaret); and her brothers-in-law, Ray Mainland (Daisy) and Leonard Mainland (Velma).

She is survived by: her children, Allen Mainland (Pauline), Joan Cruise (Don) and Roger Mainland (Marian). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews.
