He was predeceased by: his son Michael Thomas Gibson; and his parents, Thomas Gibson and Kathleen Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his grandchildren, Skyler, Alyvea, Madison Gibson and Kathy; his siblings, Tereasa (Gord), Jean (Robert), Jessie (Bill), Suzette (John), Patrick, David (Lynn) and Brian (Debbie); his mother-in-law Lorraine Prickett; his siblings-in-law, Wayne (Christine), Jeffrey (Diana) and Sheri (Rod); his brother Peter Gibson; his father-in-law Wilson Prickett; his sister-in-law Linda Sopha; and also Cyndy Gibson. He is also survived by his relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
