Sondra Dorothia Milner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sondra Dorothia Milner of Guelph, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gillespie and Edith Gillespie. She is survived by: her children, Brenda, Susan (Scott), Barbara (Lewis), Karen (Paul), Steven (Carla) and Stewart (Kathy); her grandchildren, Jamie, Matthew, Jason, Jennifer, Christopher, Kevin, Leanne, Carolyn, Kristin, Allan, Thomas, Leonard, Daniel, Jessica, Heather, Michael, James, Amy and Chloe; her significant other Leonard Milner; her siblings, Shirley, Rebecca, Barbara and Bill; her son-in-law Jim; her siblings-in-law, Joyce and Allan; her nephew Robert; and her friends, Hearns, Purcells, Allens and Moirs. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Guelph Line (1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7P2S7). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (1299 Brant St, Burlington, ON L7P1X7).
A charity that is very close to Sondra's heart is The Foundation Fighting Blindness. A donation in her honour would be greatly appreciated.
