He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Zilio and Genoveffa Zilio; his siblings, Ermenegildo, Alfeo, Ornorato and Rita Favretto; and his siblings-in-law, Orfelio DalBello, Lina Berdusco, Rina Giacon and Lino Dal Bello.
He is survived by: his spouse Massimina; his children, Giuliano (Lisa), Lucy (Ray) and Lisa; his grandchildren, Alicia (Jose), Laura (Stephen), Andrew (Becky), Mark, Kayla (Cole), David (Nicole), Emily and Michela; his siblings, Elda Marcon, Maria Binotto (Ettore), Apollonia Zardo (Giacondo) and Albert Zilio; and his siblings-in-law, Antonio Dal Bello (Flavia), Luigi Dal Bello (Adriana), Anna Menegazzo (Dino), Angelo Dal Bello (Phyllis) and Luigina Mazzocato (Mario). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
