She was predeceased by : her husband Angelo; her child Grasiela; her parents, Antonio Sponga and Maria Sponga; and her siblings, Elsa, Rita and Joseph.
She is survived by : her children, Maria Cal (late Vittorio), Clara Scapinello (Lorenzo), Grasiela “Gracie” (Morris) Reynolds and Franco (Sonia); her grandchildren, Rosanna, Roberto Cal (Marla), Andrew (Amanda), Lucas, Lauren (Sean), Amanda Scapinello (Graham), Adam (Rachael), Bryan (Michelle), Caitlyn (Casey), Michelle Reynolds (Donald), Tristan (Zoë) and Tianna Tessari; and her siblings, Lilliana, Angelo and Maria.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and Canadian Diabetes Association.
