He was predeceased by: his parents, Norm Foster (Laura) and Betty Foster; and his sister Peggy MacNeil (John). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Foster; his daughters, Lindsay Walker (Ian), Robin Foster, Michelle Bendig (Shaun), Kimberly Stahlbaum (Henry) and Jennifer Auger (Alex); his grandchildren, Owen, Nathan Walker, Evelyn Foster, Colton Bendig, Ben, Amelia Stahlbaum, Magdalen and Eli Van; and his stepsiblings, Laurie Elkerton (Peter Hatzinger), Margaret Bird (Martin) and John Elkerton (Angela Boudreau).
