With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Riemer Zoethout in Guelph, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Riemer left this world on December 14, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sjoerd Zoethout and Grietje Zoethout; his brothers, Date "Doc" and Douwe "Doug"; and his nephew Wayne James.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances; his children, Suzanne Renon (Rob) of Goderich and Daco Zoethout (Jennifer) of Guelph; his grandchildren, Jacob Renon, Nick Renon, Greta Zoethout and Jack Zoethout; his brother Tjeerd "Terry" (Shirley); and his sister-in-law Beverly Zoethout. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
