He is survived by: his wife Elma Nankivell (Ball); his children, Lesley VanDerMuelen (Tom), David (Tammy) and Andrew (Bridget); his grandchildren, Ayla VanDerMuelen (Colin), Erin VanDerMuelen (Aaron), Adam, Kyra, Alissa and Evan Nankivell; and his brother Bernard.
