He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Maureen; his sisters, Fiona, Nuala and Siobhan; and his grandson Patrick Leo.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Michael (Xi), Ciaran (Michele) and Maureen (Jon); and his siblings, Ciaran, Eithne, Ronan and Donal. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Basilica of Our Lady (28 Norfolk St, Guelph, ON N1H4H8).
