He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Anne Lomas; his sons, Michael (Marlene) of Hanover and Jeffrey of Guelph; his parents, Wilmer Lomas and Hazel Lomas; and his brothers, Douglas and Kenneth.

He is survived by: his sister Anne.
