He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion McCarter and Ronald McCarter; and his former wife Willow McCarter. He is survived by: his wife Diane Kennedy McCarter; his sons, Luke (Flore), Scott (Jacqueline) and Reid (Trish); his stepchildren, Ashley (Brian), Andrew (Alexis), Michael (Caroline) and Graham; his grandchildren, Avery, Ronan, Callum and Liam Cullen; his stepchildren, Kellan, Maureen, Willow McCarter, Isla, Madeline McCarter, Addie, Ari Barr and Eli Barr; and his siblings, Cathryn Ainslie (Tod), Wendy McCarter-Capps, Greig McCarter (Christine) and Marnie Smith (Scott).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Firshade Room at Langdon Hall (1 Langdon Dr, Cambridge, ON N3H4R8).
