She was predeceased by: her husband Stewart L. Ritchie; and her brothers, Ambroise, Leonard and Gerald. She is survived by: her children, Murray (Lisa) and Karen (Terry Rooyakkers); her grandchildren, Mary (Matthew Handy), Maisie Rooyakkers and Jeffrey Rooyakkers (Jess); and her great grandchild Alice. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
