He was predeceased by: his wife Lenore; his brother Don; his stepson Peter Veen; his grandchildren, Matthew and Klaas; and his great grandchild Riley.
He is survived by: his son Paul McEachern; his stepchildren, Eugenia Routledge (Ted), Jamie Ferrier (Karen) and Rob Veen; and his siblings, Murray, Shirley, Eleanor and Beverly. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
