Lina Maria Franzoni Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025, at the age of 96, Lina Maria Franzoni (Guelph, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ermes Franzoni. She is survived by: her children, Ivana Stangherlin (Romano), Susy Dubosq (Marcel) and Mauro Franzoni (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Laura (Brad), Maria, Jennifer, Michael (Krista), Stephanie and Lauren; her great grandchildren, Tahlia, Evalyn, Ciara, Sienna, Emilee, Dylan, Caleb, Aria, Lilly, Rian, George, Carly and Kira; her brother Antonio Sonego; and her friend Gilbert MacIntyre. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St N, Guelph, ON N1H4P3). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations made to the St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family for all their care and assistance.
