She was predeceased by: her son Mike Middleton; her grandson Steven; her parents, Russell Middleton and Ethel Middleton; and her siblings, Harry, David, Ralph, Ronald, Stewart, Jerry, Audrey, Betty, Donna and Joyce.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Stephenson; her children, Janet Middleton (Roland Charbonneau) and Jack Smith (Michelle Farrow); her grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler and Christine; her sisters, Judy Cannon and Gloria Karn; and her brother-in-law Mike (Mary).
