He was predeceased by: his daughter Suzanne Voteary; his sister Marilyn Simpson (Brian); and his parents, Agnes Macksey and Albert Macksey. He is survived by: his children, Joanne Macksey, Jim Voteary and Richard Macksey; his grandchildren, Owen, Arielle and Claudia; and his siblings, Karen Ives (late Bob), Jean Koski and Wayne Macksey (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
