Joy Sloan Obituary

She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Douglas Sloan. She is survived by: her siblings, Laurie Mitchell (Clark), Harry Greenwood (Betty) and Ernie Greenwood (Janice); and her children, Ann Elliott, Phil Hutton (Janice Hutton), Helena Hutton (Tom Peters) and Louis Hutton (Barb Hutton). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mom was a pioneer in the field of special education and was recognized both nationally and internationally for her outstanding contributions to the field of learning disabilities.
