He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his sibling Vern Negus; and his parents, Shirley and Richard. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Gaetz (Casey), Mary Jackson (Blair) and Raymond Ringer (Deb); his grandchildren, Kevin Gaetz (Genevieve), Cassandra Novak (Devon), Lexy Howitt (Eric), Nicole Heiland (Kyle), Courtney Gaetz, Alisha Jackson (Jason), Amanda Lilley, Trista Lilley and Jase Jackson; his siblings, Edith Osmond (Tony), Shirley May Triger (Roger) and Richard Negus (Cathy); and his siblings-in-law, David Way and Linda Bourget (Gilles). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, Tyilla's family, dear friends, extended family.
