He was predeceased by: his wife Debra Dutra; and his sister Maria "Bernadette" Scott (John). He is survived by: his former wife Lucia Dutra; his children, Cynthia Sousa (Jeff), Angela Baldwin (Aaron), Matthew Dutra (Amber) and Michael Dutra (Savanna); his grandchildren, Tiago, Enzo, Olivia, Harrison and Adaline; and his siblings, Maria "Connie" Silveira (late Fernando), Antonio Dutra (Fatima), Isidro Dutra (Isabel), Manny Dutra (Fatima), Elisa Giralt (Eliseo), Aida Carew (Mark), Jorge Dutra and Gina Maurer (Peter).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Brombal Funeral Home (1 Delhi St, Guelph, ON N1E4J3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
