With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Roberts Hammill (Guelph, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John Roberts is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John Roberts' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jeffrey and Dana; his grandchildren, Thomas, Robbie, Jadon, Lisa and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Logan, Griffin and Austin; and his brothers, Kenneth and William (P. Hammill).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A committal service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount View Cemetery (80 Blenheim Rd, Cambridge, ON N1S4H8).
