He was predeceased by: his wife Zita Whetstone (Serafin); his siblings, Phyllis Guidolin (late Aldo) and Edward Whetstone (late Pat); and his parents, Margaret Whetstone (Simpson) and Edward Whetstone.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Garcia (Alan) of Guelph and Jay (Marlies) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Kelly (James), Justin (Deanna), William (Rina) and Christiane (Graham); and his great grandchildren, Alexander, Benjamin and Jemma.
