He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Hamilton (Smollett); and his parents, John Daniel Hamilton and Helen Elsie Hamilton (McWhinnie) of Ormstown, Quebec.. He is survived by: his children, Edna, Susan, Jane (Brian), Bill (Flor) and Brenda (Gord); his grandchildren, Daniel, Karl, Alexander, Dalton, Erik, Marian, Leah, Isabel and Hamish; his siblings, Gladys, Bruce and Dalton; and his siblings-in-law, Lewis, Olive and Judy. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
