He was predeceased by: his parents, Willem Asma and Anna Asma; and his brother Henk (late Rinske). He is survived by: his significant other Carol McIsaac; his children, Linda Blandford and Tony Asma; his grandchildren, Kyle, Samantha, Alexandra (Matthew), John and Marilena; his great grandchild Elara; and his sister Gertie Melis (late Salvador).
