He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Pol and Carla Pol; his sister Lydia Pol; and his siblings-in-law, John and Ann Atkinson.
He is survived by: his wife Liz Pol (Atkinson); his children, Andrew Pol and Christina Cahill (Aaron); his grandson Seth Jacob Cahill; his sisters, Sylvia Bruulsema (Harold), Bernita Pol (James) and Alisha Pol (Geodi); his sister-in-law Marian Lawr; his nieces and nephews, Corey (Diana), Theo (Emily), Alena (Patryk), Summer, Daisy and Caedan; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Simon, Zoe, Nora and Owen.
