He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Samson and Rachel Samson; and his children, Kevin (Margo), Debbie (Karen), Lindy (David) and Melanie (Eli).

He is survived by: his wife Toni; his siblings, Esme (late Alan), Len (Myrna) and Sheryl (Yacov); his grandchildren, Aviva (Julie), Keira, Ethan, Ben, Daniel and Ethan K; and his great grandchild Eddy.
