Irene Sommerauer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Sommerauer in Guelph, Ontario, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frigyes Ling and Anna Losonczki; her siblings, Anna Bekesi, Frigyes Ling, Ignatius Ling, Leslie Ling (Theadora Ling), Gizi Martony (Janos Martony) and Marika Mina (Janos Mina); her children, Dr. John Sommerauer (Debi Roberson) and Susan McCormick (John McCormick); her grandmothers, Nagymama, Shannon Sommerauer Douma (Randy Douma), Lindsay Sommerauer (John Suschkov), Emily McCormick (Avery Andress), Sarah McCormick (Daniel Cenedese), Abbey Sommerauer, Elora Sommerauer, Jillian Sommerauer and Brienne Sommerauer; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Douma, Jacob Douma, Arlo Sommerkov and Remi Sommerkov. She was also cherished by her extended family and friends.
