She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan McFarlane; her parents, Iris Smith and Noel Smith; and her brothers, Eric and Roy Smith.

She is survived by: her son Ian McFarlane (Deborah McFarlane); her grandchildren, Liam and Ronin McFarlane; and her siblings, Calvin, Conrad, Dalton, Kathleen, Rose, Patrick, Daphney and Elsie.
