She was predeceased by: her husband John Helwig (Jack); her daughter Jane Emma; and her parents, Laura Wolfenberg Smith and Harry Smith. She is survived by: her son Dr. Steven Helwig (Peggy) of Huntsville Ontario; her grandchildren, Laurie Anderson (Jim) of Cozumel Mexico, Tanner Helwig (Cynthia), Stephanie Ashe, Griffin Helwig, Keil, Dillon (Meg) and Brodie Anderson (America); her great grandchildren, Sloane Helwig (Tanner), Chloe Ashe (Stephanie) and Kai Anderson (Dillon); her sister-in-law Vicki Smith; and her parents-in-law, Emma and Harvie.
