He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Verna Lasby; his children, Brian (Gráinne) of Mississauga, Brenda Sangster (Randy) of Fergus and Bruce (Bonnie) of Erin; his grandchildren, Darcy, Brandon (Michelle), Megan (Craig McRitchie), Blair and Ian; his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Charlotte and Morgan; and his sibling Verne Lasby (late Anne).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brombal Funeral Home (1 Delhi St, Guelph, ON N1E4J3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
