He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Eileen; and his siblings, Matt (Mable), Ken (Audrey) and Ange Moyer Marge (Eddy).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; and his in-laws, Colleen Carere and Chester Carere Jr. Janice (Inam). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations directed to the Guelph Humane Society in Jerry's honour would be appreciated by the family.
