She was predeceased by: her son Robert Dean; and her parents, John Purvis and Gertrude Raitt. She is survived by: her husband Donald Dean; her children, Norman Dean (Chanda) and Merriel Dean (Tim Simard); her grandchildren, Ember, Katlyn, Erin and Ella; and her siblings, Betty McKeen and Jack Raitt.
