He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Ann Tilley (Ricard); his son Michael (Junior); his parents, Garland Tilley and Sadie Tilley (Lucy); his siblings, Harold, Owen (Jessie), Watson, Dave, Woodrow and Otto; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret (Billy), Theresa, Isabelle, Michael and Charlie.

He is survived by: his children, Rosemary and Robert; his granddaughters, Brenda (Colin) and Amber; his great grandchildren, Shania, Preston and Braedyn; and his brothers, Leo (late Carol), Roy (late Marjorie) and Gerald (Maureen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
