He was predeceased by: his wife Johanna van Heeswyk (Joanne); his parents, Marinus and Anna van Heeswyk; and his siblings, Tony van Heeswyk (late Lucy) and Margaret Szczesny (late Ted).
He is survived by: his sons, Martin, Andre (Kathy), Paul (late Vera) and Frank (Helena); his grandchildren, Cory, Garrett, Eric, Justin, Christa, Cassandra, Megan, Gillian, Jana and Lenka; and his siblings, Rita Wynen (late Adrian) of Drumbo, Willie Jaegers of Cambridge, Bill van Heeswyk (Betty) of St. Mary's, John van Heeswyk (Mia) of Strathroy and Frances van Boekel (John) of Tavistock.
A funeral mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph on Monday, August 19 at 10:30 a.m. entombment to be at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, If so desired, memorial donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
