He was predeceased by: his siblings, Trudy Osinga, Tryntje Idserda and Henry Idserda; and his parents, Jan Idserda and Jane Idserda (Kin).

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Peter Osinga, Dr. Christopher, Lisa Osinga and Kim Osinga; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan, Kieran, Melissa, Sarah, Bryce and Drew; and his brother-in-law Peter Osinga.

A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Harriston Cemetery.
