Ernest James Duffy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 88, Ernest James Duffy (Guelph, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Susan (Sue); his daughter Joanne; and his siblings, James, Joseph (Emmett), John (Jack), Patrick (Maurice), Reginald (Reggie), Marie Callaghan and Elizabeth Carmichael (Betty).
He is survived by: his children, John (Tracy), Patrick (Tracy) and Leslie (Gerard Boyle); his grandchildren, Kevin Budd (Staci), Michael, Gillian (Owen), Lauren, Katherine, Margaret, Sarah, Caroline, Eddie Boyle, Charlotte Boyle, Madeline Boyle and Laura Boyle; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Theodore, Clementine, Leopold and Winifred Budd; his sister-in-law Betty Duffy; and his nephew Dan Duffy (Kara).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Basilica of Our Lady (28 Norfolk St, Guelph, ON N1H4H8).
