Elizabeth Anne Carter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Anne Carter (Guelph, Ontario), who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her father J. Ernest Carter. She is survived by: her mother Gloria Anne Carter; and her siblings, Wally Carter (Kelley), John Carter (Kim) and Nancy Carter (Ken Rilling).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Parish (175 Emma St, Guelph, ON N1E1V6).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), the Arthritis Society of Canada, or the Out of the Cold Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
