She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Buczek; and her parents-in-law, Shirley and Ivan Monkhouse. She is survived by: her spouse Terry Monkhouse; her sons, Matthew and Michael; her father Joseph Buczek; her siblings, Steve Buczek, Kim Graham (Mark) and Michelle Smith (Katrina); her sibling-in-law Tracey Holdway (Doug); and her nieces and nephews, Nathan, Jasmine, Morgan, Cody, Jake and Noah. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.

As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made in Cindy's honour to the Meningitis Foundation of Canada.
