Chester Carere Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester Carere (Guelph, Ontario), who passed away on August 19, 2022 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chester Carere to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giacomo and Vincenzia; and his siblings, William (Josephine), Cosmo (Elsie), Jack (Ella), Frank (Victoria), Romolo, Mary Tessaro (Peter) and Fortunata.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Sharon (Jerry Hasson), Colleen, Janice (Stephen Hurlbut) and Chester Jr. (Inam); his grandchildren, Randall and Leslie; his great grandchildren, Ty, Grey and Reeve; his sisters, Catherine Sherlock (late Jim) and Rita Stilo (Frank); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Barber (late Chuck) and Madeleine Carere (late Romolo). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Guests are asked to please wear a mask for the visitation and Funeral Mass. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Guelph General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
