She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Pearl Elkins (Padgett) and Silmon Ernest Elkins; her former husband John James Fordham II; her children, Ruth Anne Fordham (Ruthie) and John James Fordham III (Johnny); and her siblings, Betty Lou, Silmon Ernest (Buddy) and Charles Wiley.

She is survived by: her sister Ruth Ann; her grandchildren, Anne-Drea Allison, Anne-Marie Allison and David Fordham; her great grandchildren, Jessica Allison and Justice Harker; her sibling Oklahoma; her spouse British Royal Air Force; and her grandson Johnny. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
