He was predeceased by: his son Bill Jr.; and his parents, John and Velma Dobbie. He is survived by: his daughter Paula Dobbie-Evans (Paul); his siblings, Bob Dobbie (Pat), Bonnie Chow (Michael), Lynda Elliott, John Dobbie (Diane), Arthur Dobbie (Marta), Patricia Pelliter (Claude), Debra Dobbie (Deb Harrison), Amy Whetstone (Wayne) and Kim Davidson (Paul); his former wife Sandra Dobbie; and his sister-in-law Nancy Aikens (late John Aikens). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated.
