She was predeceased by: her close friend Marinus; her daughter Mary; her parents, Hans Draaistra and Maria Draaistra; and her siblings, Mike, Wiebe, Thomas, Mary and Hinke.

She is survived by: her children, John, Henry (Minnie), Wilma Rathe (Ben) and Irene Stuiver (Dan Kress); her grandchildren, Shawn Jeffery (Candice), Brian Stuiver (Laura), Patrick Stuiver (Alexandria), Emily Boekesyn (Matt), Dayna Fowler (Jason), Danielle Uitbeyerse (Paul), Kolton Uitbeyerse (Shazia) and Jonathon Mallay (Wendy); her great grandchildren, Emma, Anna, James, Alissa, Ryleigh, Hayle, Sienna, Erin, Ryan, Audrey, Kaia and Mirha; and her siblings, Geert Draaistra (Hinke), Andy Draaistra (Mary), Sandra Kempenaar (Gary), Helen Kempers and Alice Pickell (Bob).
